About Me
My name is Catarina Silva and I founded Backyard Splash on a passion for swimming and teaching. I hold over 12 years of swim experience and a focus on competitive swim coaching. I am lifeguard-certified and work on providing tailored lessons for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. I learned how to swim when I was 4 in a backyard pool and went on to competitively swim for 10 years. With my background in business from university and a passion and love of the water, I decided to create Backyard Splash LLC!

Why Us?
Learn to swim from an experienced coach in a relaxing backyard setting
Lesson Info
Starting at $45
Beginner
Learn to blow bubbles, float on back independently, retreive toys from the bottom of pool, kick, arm strokes, and tread water.
Intermediate
Perform all skills from beginner independently. Start working on strokes, freestyle, backstroke, and breastroke kick. We will swim in the deeper end and go off the diving board ( not required, but a fun option).
Advanced
Can comfortably swim across the pool, knows atleast two intermediate strokes. We will learn all four strokes, tread water in the deep end, learn to dive, and other swim team skills if that is your childs end goal.
Adult Lessons
Whether you are just learning to swim or want to learn more strokes to workout, Backyard Splash provides a wide variety of private lessons for each adult learner. It’s never too late to start learning how to swim!
